Kodak Six-20 Brownie C (Raspberry Pi case mod)

Here's my next case mod for the Rasp Pi. I'm going extra retro with this one and using a circa 1946 Kodak Six-20 Brownie C camera.
It's still in the design stage right now but I have everything I need(except a Raspberry Pi http://www.retrovia.ie/images/smilies/bluesmilies/sincere%20sadness.png)
Anyway, The Rasp Pi should be shipping to me in a couple of weeks and I can get to work.

If I work this mod correctly then there will be loads of room inside for extra storage(both disk space and hardware wise).
I'd like to get an actual USB or other camera hooked up and functioning inside this thing(using the front lens of course) but that's more a secondary mod and will probably happen much later when we have lots or apps, drivers and other things figured out for the Rasp Pi.

Resurrecting this old thread as the new Raspberry Pi A+ I received recently is going to be a very good fit for this mod.
As you might be able to see, I already have the Raspberry Pi camera module installed inside the camera.

The new RPi A+ is quite a bit smaller than the previous revision so is a perfect fit for mods and hacks that are tight on space.

Heres a bunch of pictures that show the size of things and how they fit together. You can see how I've attached the camera module pretty clearly.
I used some Sugru to attach and place it firmly. It's not perfectly smooth on the front where the lens is but that won't be an issue as I have a plan for that.

Lots of room inside the case for all the bits I'll need to set up to make this work(battery, other small pcb's etc). I wont be installing a screen and will retain the original and still functioning viewfinders of the camera as they will work fine(after a bit of cleaning and polishing).
